Global warming takes a vacation

Those who dare assert the Earth’s temperature isn’t on a perilous rise are derided as “deniers.” For liberals, the climate debate has ended, and it is an unquestionable article of faith that mankind’s carbon-dioxide emanations have set the stage for rising oceans, devastating hurricanes and disasters on a scale never before seen. To say otherwise is unthinkable, and that has created a dilemma. It’s not actually getting warmer.

In a paper published Tuesday, no less an authority than NASA scientist James E. Hansen wrote, “The 5-year mean global temperature has been flat for a decade, which we interpret as a combination of natural variability and a slowdown in the growth rate of the net climate forcing.” Mr. Hansen is the intellectual godfather of the global-warming movement who advised Al Gore on his Oscar-winning climate-scare flick, “An Inconvenient Truth.” Mr. Hansen has just acknowledged more than the lack of warming. His words confirm nature, not mankind, played the decisive role in directing global temperatures over the past 10 years.

This will not be reported on any news program, not even Fox.

And all of this in spite of all of the hot air that Al Gore has contributed to the debate.

It was warmer 1000 years ago, when the Viking's came to Greenland. So, we must have had a 1000 years of Global Cooling.

  5. RQuance says:

Never has been global warming. The earth cycles between cooler and warmer due to the sun and normal cycles of variation. This has been known as a fact for over 150 years but it seems that some people like to look at very short time frames. Oops! I have house warming. My stove just turned on. Oops again! My furnace just turned on. Oh Nuts! My AC just came on and I am going into an Ice Age. LOL!!!!!!!!

I don't know why liberals can not take the leap of faith to believe in a God which they don't see and think the Bible is a fairy tale but they bow at the "Global Warming" altar and make their wild predictions of drowning polar bears even though the facts and records just don't add up. And they can make their case only with fraudulent data; then when caught they claim the crisis is still happening.

I recently read a scientific article indicating global warming is affecting ALL planets in our solar system! You have to be crazed if you think this is not a cyclical phenomenon. As far as I know, there are NO carbon emissions on Mars or Pluto. Get a grip Al Gore!!!!!

  8. I think I felt the adverse effect of global warming during my visit to Australia. One minute it was scorching hot, but after an hour or so, it was torrential downpour. Even the locals claim that the kind of weather we were experiencing were unprecedented as well as baffling.

  9. I care not much for the debate of global warming believers and the debunkers, but I am worried about these natural disasters such as tsunami. From my reading, human expansion of settlement allowed for tidal waves to inflict damage compared to a smaller human settlements say 300 years ago.
