Michael Mann is back in the news with the latest batch of Climategate emails.
Anthony Watts and his colleagues at “Watts Up With That?” have just published a searchable database of the latest 5,000 Climategate emails to be released on a Russian web site.
The Climategate emails are from the Climate Research Unit at the University of East Anglia in the UK. The first batch of these emails were released in November, 2009. They proved that the climate alarmists were hiding data, skewing data, suppressing opposing viewpoints, and pursuing a purely political agenda.
These latest emails simply reconfirm what climate realists have known all along. These are vicious liars who are willing to do anything to promote global governance, high taxes, and the destruction of western industrialized civilization.
Michael Mann, the “climate scientist” at Penn State who created the phony “hockey stick” graph to erase the medieval warming period in world history, is once again shown to be an arrogant and unprincipled man.

I would not respond to this. They will misrepresent and take out of context anything you give them. This is a set up. They will certainly publish this, and will ignore any evidence to the contrary that you provide. s They are going after Wei-Chyung because he’s U.S. and there is a higher threshold for establishing libel. Nonetheless, he should consider filing a defamation lawsuit, perhaps you too.
I have been talking w/ folks in the states about finding an investigative journalist to investigate and expose McIntyre, and his thus far unexplored connections with fossil fuel interests. Perhaps the same needs to be done w/ this Keenan guy.
I believe that the only way to stop these people is by exposing them and discrediting them….

Mr Mann has not so long ago written a NYT article (perhaps by invitation, I am not sure), in which he maintains that he did nothing wrong when presenting the Global temperature data. In other words, he will not even admit that his presentation and analysis needed serious review, such as done by Dr McItrick. It appears to me that a reply to his insistance of being correct should come from one of the experts who have already shown the inaccuracies and plainly wrong analysis he presented to the world. And after all, how does he or anybody explain the absence of increasing global temperature anomaly of the past 14 years? All the data and sound arguments against AGW are so compelling, there will come a day that those that keep hanging on to this myth will wake up and ask themselves why they were such utter fools for so long a time. Mark my words. But then, by that time Mann and Co. will have long been gone and the whole issue of AW will no longer exist. Pollution is a different issue, I am sure.
