EPA Spending Millions On ‘Environmental Justice’ Activism

Earlier this month the Environmental Protection Agency awarded a $25,000 grant to the Louisiana Bucket Brigade for air-quality sampling, as part of an initiative which is funneling millions annually into local organizations for environmental justice.

According to the EPA, environmental justice is “the fair treatment and meaningful involvement of all people regardless of race, color, national origin, or income with respect to the development, implementation, and enforcement of environmental laws, regulations, and policies.”

    I think that most states wisely manage their natural resources. Pennsylvania, my home state, is a big producer of lumber, natural gas, and oil. State laws manage timber harvesting and replacement. The oil and natural gas country in north central PA could be a model to other states. You can drive around the back woods of McKean County and never see an oil well, just natural forests. Almost all Pennsylvanians are keen on conservation without being crazies. You should be also. P
