In March 2009, President Obama picked Van Jones to be his Green Jobs Czar. In September 2009, Jones resigned after Glenn Beck exposed the fact that Jones was a militant communist radical.
After his departure from the Obama Administration, Jones went to work at Center for American Progress, a socialist group funded by one-worlder George Soros. Jones is also currently teaching at Princeton University at the African American Studies center and the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs. He is a “senior fellow” at the Center for American Progress and is an advisor for the extremist Green for All group.
Knowing Obama’s own Marxist worldview, it is likely that he picked Jones because he was a communist and a radical green activist whose primary goal is to destroy capitalism and to transform our nation into a European socialist state.
Jones’s radical communist, anti-military, anti-police past is well known. Here are the basic highlights of his past:
Jones says he became a communist shortly after the 1992 Rodney King riots and the trial. According to Jones “I was a rowdy nationalist on April 28th” and “by August, I was a communist.”
In 1993, he moved to San Francisco and helped found the Bay Area Police Watch, which demonized the police in that city. In 1996, he founded the Ella Baker Center for Human Rights, which was designed undermine our justice system. The Baker Center received more than $1 million from George Soros’ Open Society Institute.
Jones became a committed Marxist-Leninist during the late 90s, becoming a leader of the group called STORM (Standing Together To Organize A Revolutionary Movement).
In 2006, Jones endorsed an anti-police day held by the Maoist Revolutionary Communist Party.
Jones considers American prisons to be racist and nothing more than “slave ships on dry land.”
Now, since he’s become a green activist, he is demanding that America “build a pipeline from the prison economy to the green economy.” How is this to be done? He wants the federal government to hire ex-felons to work in “green jobs” to do weatherstripping for energy efficiency in homes and offices.
According to Jones, in an interview on Uprising Radio in Los Angeles, “The green economy will start off as a small subset” of a “complete revolution” against what he calls “gray capitalism.” The goal is the “redistribution of all wealth.”
Part of this anti-capitalist effort is being accomplished through Green for All, an organization Jones founded in 2007. Green for All is also funded by Soros and Al Gore. The alleged purpose of Green for All is to “build an inclusive green economy strong enough to life people out of poverty.” The real goal is to get taxpayer dollars to fund government-run boondoggles in the inner cities. This smells a lot like Lisa Jackson’s “environmental justice” project at the EPA.
Jones has openly admitted that his green agenda is designed to destroy capitalism. Jones has stated: “We are going to push it and push it until it becomes the engine for transforming the whole society.”
Van Jones is the ultimate watermelon activist. His “green” agenda is really a red agenda to destroy capitalism.
In July 2011, Jones was featured as a keynote speaker at the Energy Action Coaliton/PowerShift “American Dream Rally in Washington, D.C. This is a radical green group that seeks to undermine America’s energy industry. The International Socialist Organization held workshops at this conference. Also featured at this event was Lisa Jackson, head of the EPA. Jackson appeared at the 2009 PowerShift conference where she told the youth gathered that “change” was coming to the EPA.
